Travel to Goa Anjuna Flea market

Anjuna beach has got its own beauty but it is the flea market which is held on every Wednesday that has made this beach quite popular.

It was the hippies who brought about the trend of the flea market at Goa Anjuna beach during the late 1960s. From then on, the flea market at the Anjuna beach in Goa has never failed to entice people. This is one market wherein you can find anything to just about everything. The market begins quite early, at around 11am and you really can see dust clouds being raised as throngs of tourists pour in.

Traveling to Goa Anjuna flea market can be fun because the market is quite huge offering whatever one needs, from a used paperback to a haircut, one would find it here. The flea market is a heaven for hardcore shoppers and good bargainers, to bid on wonderful blends of Tibetan, Kashmiri and Gujarati trinkets and handicrafts, European snacks, cassettes of a noisy brand of music called 'Goa Trance', artificial ornaments carvings and T-shirts. An elephant ride and a photograph with a fake sadhu or a fake snake charmer can also be found here.

Besides this, at Goa Anjuna beach flea market, you can get beautiful tattoos done. These tattoos are usually a craze among the tourists. Then there is the food market which offers you a wide range of chioice-right from Goan cuisine to Italian to Indian. So after a tiresome day's shopping, you can rest your legs as you savor some Goan delicacy and quench your thirst by drinking any of Goa's famous cocktails.
